I can’t believe September is already gone but I also can’t say I’m not excited for the upcoming months. With the beginning of Fall, which is probably my favorite season, I’m looking forward to this magical time of year and a new chapter in my life. I’m ready to embrace the changes and work on something very exciting.
September Recap.
1. Be more active on Instagram.
If being active means posting four times last month, yes, I was active. While it was better than the previous month, it wasn’t what I had in mind. But hey, it’s fine.
2. One-touch challenge.
The one-touch challenge was all about cleaning after myself in an attempt to save time and mainly avoid a chair wardrobe. I’m not going to pretend it was perfect, but I think I did a pretty good job at it most of the time. It’s so nice to get to the end of the week and not have everything you wore pilling up in your bedroom chair.
3. Bake chocolate chip cookies.
It’s hard for me to understand why I didn’t achieve this goal but it’s true, I didn’t. I did eat a few delicious homemade treats such as almond pie and chocolate cake.
4. Binge-watch a new tv-show.
I was recently introduced to The Bold Type by my best friend and I managed to watch the whole season last month. Although it is an easy to watch show, it covers some very important topics such as the challenges of your first adult job, feminism, and homosexuality. I’m now ready for a new show to binge on so if you have any other recommendations, please send them my way!
5. Set goals for the rest of the year.
Completely failed at this.

October Goals.
1. Attempt the 30 Days of Yoga challenge.
If you’re into yoga, you might be familiar with Yoga with Adriene. A couple of years ago she created a 30-day yoga challenge to help whoever wanted to start a yoga practice. I’ve been meaning to try it for ages so I’m looking forward to finally schedule in some time for it this month.
2. Complete an InDesign course for beginners.
This year I discovered a passion for graphic design and I would love to learn more about this topic. After Aileen‘s recommendation, I signed up for a Skillshare free trial and am now enrolled in the InDesign Essential Training. I’m a few episodes into the course and it has been so much fun to learn new things in every class as well as putting everything into practice.
3. Work on some exciting design projects.
I’m not going to go into details – and I’m sorry for being that person – but this month I’m working on some exciting design projects that will *fingers crossed* be revealed in early November.
4. Get a haircut.
Now that we’re heading into the colder months, I’m ready for a haircut. While I enjoy my long hair, it really needs a cut and I find that it has been looking flat and heavy lately so it’s time for a little makeover. I’m thinking about going back to a long bob but I’m still not sure.
5. Bake a batch of cinnamon rolls.
I’ve been daydreaming about cinnamon rolls for the longest time so I’m looking forward to finally do it this month. And I just realized that I’ve been including baking treats in each one of my monthly goals posts, lately.

Try to act like an adult on my birthday! And make it through a move gracefully. 😉 I love Yoga with Adriene – you’ll be so glad you tried out the 30 Days of Yoga challenge. It’s amazing (and sort of addictive)! Do you follow the monthly calendars at all?
I love the “try to act like an adult on my birthday”! We always feel like kids at our birthdays, right ? 🙂
I’ve been loving it so far – I’m on day five today. I didn’t know she had those monthly calendars, had to go look for it. I’m just following the video series she created a couple of years ago on Youtube – the 30 days of yoga. x
I’ve just discovered your blog through Sophie Cliff and I already know that I’m going to love reading it!
I hope you achieve all your goals this month! I’ve also got a keen interest in graphic design, although I’m not arty in the slightest so I don’t know if I’ll ever pursue it!

Aww thank you so much, Emma! I’m happy to have you here 🙂
I’m also not a very artistic person – I actually suck at drawing ahah – but I’ve been really into graphic design lately and it has been great to learn more about it.
Hope you have a lovely October!! x
Get a haircut definitely in my list.
Let me know if you do it 🙂 x
