Reading about the different personality types is something I find really interesting. I believe that knowing your type can be super useful to learn a bit more about yourself, understand how & why you react to certain situations or around people and to be aware of your own strengths & weaknesses.
A few months ago I discovered the Myers-Briggs personality test and decided to give it ago. Turns out, I’m an INFJ which apparently is the rarest personality type – oh well.
INFJ stands for Introversion Intuition Feeling Judging. So what does that mean?
INFJ’s are usually deep and complex people. They’re introverts, dreamers and idealists who fight for what they believe in, empathetic but a difficult person to really know at first and are always searching for a deeper meaning or connection. They’re intuitive and insightful people who express better on paper and enjoy learning new things. Here‘s a pin that explains pretty accurately what an INFJ is.
I already knew that I’m an introvert – I wrote a post about being an introvert a couple of weeks ago in case you’re curious to know more about it – but I was surprised to relate to pretty much everything else and there’s also quite a few things I had never really thought about but explain a lot about who I am as a person. It almost feels like this.
I’m sorry this was a more chatty post and probably not helpful to any of you but I find this topic really interesting and felt like writing about it to see if there are any fellow INFJs out there.
Do you what’s your personality type? Any fellow INFJ out there?
