Can you believe we entered the last quarter of 2017? It’s crazy to think that Fall is just around the corner and Christmas is only a few months away. As much as I love Summer, I am very looking forward to September and the beginning of Fall.
And with the beginning of September, I’m bringing back my monthly goals series which I’ve missed. Writing my goals makes them feel more real and sharing them on the blog is a way to hold myself accountable.
1. Be more active on Instagram.
Instagram used to be one one my favorite platforms. It still is. But I’ve been letting perfectionism and comparison kill its magic: I’m constantly doubting whether my pictures and descriptions are good enough or not. But this September I want to stop overthinking everything. I also want to make an effort to connect more with others by leaving meaningful comments if I like/relate to a post.
2. One touch challenge.
This is not the first time I’m setting this goal but as I’ve been pretty bad at it lately, I decided to attempt it once again. Do you ever come home, take off your clothes to put your pj’s on and leave everything piling up in your bedroom chair? Yes, me too. The one touch challenge is all about cleaning after yourself. It’s great to save time and avoid the feeling of a messy room.
3. Bake chocolate chip cookies.
I’ve been craving homemade chocolate chip cookies for quite some time so the beginning of Fall is the perfect time to get back to baking lots of good treats.
4. Binge-watch a new tv-show.
I was recently introduced to The Bold Type by best friend and I’m really into it. It’s such an easy to watch a show and now that we’re heading into Fall, I can’t wait to cuddle up on the couch and binge-watch it. If you have any other recommendations, please let me know!
5. Set goals for the rest of the year.
As the end of 2017 approaches, I want to take some time to reevaluate the goals I set in the beginning of the year and think about what I still want to achieve. Even though I’m not going to school anymore, September still feels like a fresh start.
What are your goals for September?
