Just realized I haven’t done a monthly goals post since December! With the new year resolutions, it simply didn’t feel right to overwhelm me with even more goals but after an okay-ish February – where I feel like I did nothing productive -, it’s time to set some things I want to achieve in the upcoming month.
I started by writing them on my planner without the intention of actually writing a blog post. But then I remembered that you guys seemed to enjoy my previous monthly goals posts, and I do like to share them for accountability reasons so I figured I could bring them back.
As I said on Instagram, in March I want to take action, I want to create more than I consume, and I want to fall back in love with my blog. So here are five things I want to accomplish in March:
1. Consume less, create more.
I’m constantly complaining that I don’t have time for anything and then I notice myself scrolling mindlessly through social media. Instead of wasting my time without any particular intention, I want to use my time more wisely. No, it doesn’t mean I will always be doing something productive but I want to consume less and create more. Whether that is working for my blog, taking more pictures or doing something creative offline.
2. Spread the love.
A few months ago I set the goal of leaving a meaningful comment every time I enjoyed a blog post and I want to bring it back. It is so important to support the blogging community and let people know when we appreciate their work. It means so much to me when I get a comment from you so I want to give it back.
3. Send a newsletter.
I’ve had this idea in my mind for quite some time and – fingers crossed – this will be the month that I will bring back the newsletters. I want to put together a newsletter next Sunday with my favorites during the month of February, from books to beauty and everything in between. Please let me know if it’s something you might be interested in!
4. Go on a walk during lunch break.
My physical activity pretty much consists of walking from home to my car and then from my car to the office. And I recently looked at my Step+ app and realized I should be ashamed of how little I walk. Since the weather is getting better, my plan is to start going on quick walks around the block during my lunch break to get some fresh hair. I also went on a morning walk at the beach last weekend and it was so good! Definitely, plan on doing it more often.
5. Book my first tattoo appointment.
Probably the craziest goal in this list but it is something I’ve been wanting to do for ages but never took the first step. One of my best friends recently got her first one and it kind of inspired me to finally do it – nothing crazy, just a tiny one that is meaningful to me. I believe that I’ve found the right place for me so now it’s time to book it.
What are your goals for March?
