I used to keep a gratitude journal where I wrote three things I was grateful for every night before bed. It might seem a very small thing but it actually had a positive impact on me. The thing is, I wrote on the last few pages about a month ago and haven’t bought a new one yet. As a consequence, my mind has been clouded with negativity and insecurity.
As I’ve been seeing some bloggers sharing gratitude lists on their blogs – which for some reason always makes me feel very warm and positive inside -, I thought why not do my own? It’s so important to stop and take the time to appreciate the little things, isn’t it? That being said, here are thirteen things I’m grateful for in July.

*After a week in the Algarve at the end of June, I had a few days off home alone which was an absolute dream for a big introvert like myself.
*Wearing white nail polish. Blanc by Essie, to be exact. It looked a bit weird the first time I applied it but I know love it!
*Binge-watching Pretty Little Liars and Reign. Also, Reign’ soundtrack never fails to impress me. Right up my alley.
*Writing this blog post on holding myself back.
*Posting at least once a week on my blog.
*Hanging out with the fam who came all the way from Brussels.
*Making chocolate cake with Belgium chocolate – wish I had a slice right now.
*10-minute yoga sessions before bed.
*Buying this jacket from Zara which I’ve been eyeing since last Winter.
*Lemonade at Costa Coffee.
*Booking a very exciting trip for later this year.
