I’m so glad June is here, it means Summer is just around the corner and I can’t wait for a little bit of sunshine after this weird weather, so far. Can you believe we are already halfway through the year, though?
And with the end of May, I’m back with another edition of my monthly goals which I haven’t done in two months – I quite miss it! If you’re new here, each month I set three goals for myself and do a little recap on how the month before went. But since the last time I did this was back in March, there will be no recap today. So let’s move on to this month’s goals!
3 Goals for June
1 | Go to one yoga class every week
After months of talking about it, I finally went to my first yoga class last week and it was great! I was a little nervous, to be honest, since I was unsure what to expect and was going on my own. But I made it through and really enjoyed the class which made me realize my complete lack of flexibility haha. Now that I took the first step, this month my goal is to go once a week without fail.
2 | Do the Throw Out 100 Things Challenge
I came across this challenge at Jess Lively‘s blog and it sounds like a great way to go through your stuff, be more conscious and intentional with the things you have and identify what you don’t need, use or love anymore. Jess calls it an exfoliation.
3 | Start journaling
I have been thinking about start journaling for a while but haven’t got around to do it yet, so I’m committed to start this month. I kept journals when I was a kid, mainly because I loved collecting notebooks – which I still do! -, and wrote a few times through the years when I was going through bad days but, eventually, stopped doing it. Since I’m now into personal development and becoming more aware of your own thoughts, I want to give it a try and see how it can benefit me.
